The Group Executive Committee

The Group Executive is made up of parents. Its role is to support the Leaders in any way that they can. This ranges from the essential fundraising to helping to identify and recruit new members, both children, and potential Leaders. They are also responsible for looking after the Group’s equipment and finances.


The committee also organizes the Annual General Meeting and as Trustees of the Group, they must act within the legislation acceptable to Charity Trustees.


Any parent can put their name forward to sit on the committee.

The committee comprises:

Chairman (chosen by the Group Scout Leader)
Beaver Parent
Cub Parent
Scout Parent
(at least one parent from each Section)

We are always looking for more Committee members.
